this is what US has been doing all this while, now we have a term for it... lol. remember the weapons for mass destruction spin?

btw, just heard Zardari again says, No concrete evidence of Pakistani citizens being involved in 26/11. I guess, we'll have to get their DNA's tested and matched with their parents found in Pakistan. But most probably, even that would turn out negative... You know, who knows? hehe

Maybe the full statement by Kerry was "I believe Pak is sincere about crackdown issues, BUT needs to do more to restore credibility with India".

Oooooh.....

what I meant is whatever the US says has originally got so much spin on it...

How do you come up with all this?

All I can say is that I love this blog!

Got to please the readers, need all the currency.

Apart from pro-India spin that Indian publications carry, many of them also have a left-wing or right-wing bias. IBN-live sickens me with all the Cong. leaning and TOI is just sickening in general. Will there ever be any accountability and impartiality from our media?

@ Pratz & nobody: Nothing more than a coincidence, I'm afraid. Visited Dawn right after the ToI and saw this brilliant gem.

@Rakesh: All nations (and most people) use varying amounts of spin. IT is, but natural. It's just that the US is extremely good at it.

@Saad: :P No doubt, that's what he said. A scrap for everybody, so that we all go back home happy.

@Thanatos: Speaking of the Indian media be partial, check this out:

Impartiality is a Utopian dream. Bias generally/usually do creep in.

Although, indulge me. How would you define 'impartiality' though? Everything is so relative :P

-->Apart from pro-India spin that Indian publications carry, many of them also have a left-wing or right-wing bias.

Very true. We ,the under-graduates were enlightened on our first day of journalism classes of "leanings" of different publications :D and channels.

->"Got to please the readers, need all the currency."

Nah Uh. The currency is always given by the advertisers. So its got to please the advertisers. [Full page ad on front page anyone? Titan watches on TOI front page. I didnt know common masses were brand savvy.]

After all, we are budding lobbyists as well.

Do I honestly believe that?
God,I hope I do.
